The living room and dining room were our two areas of focus on this project. Our clients move to MN from Washington D.C. and left all of their furniture back East. In order to make the home feel more lived-in and less brand-new to them, we sourced both reclaimed and new items to give the spaces some character.
An industrial style dining table paired with a reclaimed china hutch, wicker side chairs and a shiny new chandelier make the dining room feel both unconventional and interesting.
We carried a little "quirk" into the living room with a cow hide piano bench, plenty of accessories and all new furniture. The velvet sofa and swivel chairs in front of the fireplace are the perfect place for this family of four to gather for board games and treats.
